Music is my Life….I use to DJ all type of different music like House, hiphop, Jungle, etc..I guess I finally found myself doing mostly reggae!
Reggae Vibes Show was started by Slacky J and many different host throughout the years. The show has involve diversity of people from all source of background, that we were nick name United Nation. In 2009 Slacky J was awarded lifetime achivement by teamster promotion. Also 2011 Slacky J was awarded by the Chicago Music Award the best dj in the land and has continuously been nominated for the past 9yrs for the best selector in the land. Plus WLUW has won the award for the best radio twice in the past years.
We have promoted and open up djing and hosting for some of the biggest name in the music,like Barrinton Levy, Buju Bantan, Elephant Man, Sean Paul, Singing Melody,Stephen Marley, Damien Marley,Steel Pulse, Capelton just a few of them. I have hold residency in numerous clubs all the town and beyond.
Our aim is to take the music to the level and next level of respect that the foundation of the music once had. Remember the race is not for the swift, neither for the strong, but those who can endure it.
